A symphony orchestra is composed of the four family instruments: string, woodwing, brass and percussions.*



Her creators are Gossec (in Paris) in 1753, Johann Stamitz (in Mannheim) in 1755, then Joseph Haydn (at the Esterhazys) in 1759.
