We decided to interview some students and adults about Covid19 to learn more about theirs fears, theirs thoughts and their opinion and we asked some advices from the nurse.

What are the health protocols?

We have to wear masks, clean our hands with hydro-alcoholic gel, and respect one meter away. However, we don't have to get tested or we don't need to have online classes. There are other more complex things but we didn't talk about them. If you want to know more about them, check it out the school's website.

How many students have got Covid19?

We asked the nurse and she said that there has been barely 25 contaminated students. “It's very little for such a large middle school.”

What are the reactions and thoughts about health protocol?

People have different opinions.

“We can't all respects the rules,” said Lise, a student in 5e. “What are the sanitary rules?” said Salomé, a student in 5e.

A student in 3e believes that the health protocol is quite sufficient.

A pupil in 6e said that the health protocol is useless. And he said, “When we go to school, in the morning, we have to put some gel and few minutes later, we have to put back the gel when we enter in class.” He also said, “It's impossible to respect the barrier gestures in the corridors.”

Do they feel safe at school?

Several students said that they feel safe at school because they are not impacted by the Covid19 they are not afraid of it.

“Yes, at our age it's a little flu,” said Lise, (5e).

Two anonymous students in 4e said they don't really feel fear at school.

However, a student in 3e said that she was a little scared but but that there was the necessary. The student in 6e said: “I feel safe at school anyway we can't make it better.”

In February there will be a survey about students and staff feelings.

It's important to talk about our feelings during this difficult time.

What's the future of the protocol?

The nurse said that for the time being, there is no future protocol but if he had to have one, it would be at the cafeteria.

Is it safe enough?

The nurse said that we don’t have to be worried, it’s safe enough.

Since covid19, have visits to the infirmary increased?

We also asked the nurse and she said that since covid19, visits have not increased but there is much work to be done.
