Phobos by Léo

Phobos is a series of novels of science-fiction. It is composed of 4 volumes and is written by Victor Dixen. It has been adapted into comics and translated into English and Dutch. There are 3 volumes in English: “Ascension”, “Distortion”, and “Collision”. It’s a great thriller, you can't stop reading it !

The story is about an 18 years-old girl, Leonor, who is an orphan and decided to belong to a spatial program, Genesis. This program is intended to create the first community on Mars. In the spaceship, the six boys will meet the six girls and vice versa (they are called the pioneers). They will invite their favourite pioneer in the visiting room, and make up the final couples and have children, once on Mars. Genesis is on television and it became the most watched TV show of the world.

But the Genesis program turns out to be a big treason. The production of the show wants to make money. One woman will use the advertising revenue to support her presidential campaign, become the new president of the United States, and establish a dictatorship. This woman will still make more money, and the pioneers are confronted with a big danger…
