I decided to interview my two Indian friends about the Covid situation there. I have known them through social media. You will read the answers of my friends. "M" is for my friend Mahi, she is a girl. She is 14 and she lives in Jaipur. My other friend, "P" is also a girl, she is 14 and she lives in the North of India.
What's happening in India right now ?
M: "Covid19 is increasing a lot here we are having shortage of hospitals room, oxygen, cylinder, doctors and so many deaths. It's a really tough time here with financial problems..."
P: "We have the most Covid19 cases in the world. The vaccines are not enough, we are in economics loss, and it's all breaking down."
Has it affected anyone you know ?
M: "Yes, my brother and some of my friends."
P: "I don't live in Kashmir or West Bengal and I'm not from a farmer family. The Covid vaccine shortage is affecting everyone and my dad's business is struggling because the economy is haywire."
Is life more difficult than before for you ?
M: "Yeah it's much MORE difficult as Covid and deaths here are increasing really fast."
P: "Most, definitely."
Are you afraid of the situation ?
M: "Yes, I'm kinda afraid."
P: "Very much."
Do you go to school normally like before or are you at home ?
M: "I have online school for now."
P: "I'm at home."
Do you trust your country ?
M: "Yes of course, I trust my country, they are trying their best."
P: "No I don't."
Do you think it will get worst ? Or could it get better if we help India ?
M: "Maybe it will be helpful if we get some help as the situation here is so bad for now like there are too many deaths."
P: "Yes it can get better if we help India."
