Bush fires, gigantic floods and a tarantula invasion in Australia

The fire season of 2019/2020 was catastrophic. 3 billion animals were impacted by these bushfires. One year later, Australia’s forest health is not very good.

“About 6 000 koalas died,” said the WWF, especially in South New Wales.

One year after these abnormal fires, March 22, gigantic flooding happened in South New Wales, and 3 months of heavy downpour at the north of Sydney. If that was not enough for you, after these floods, the prime minister of South New Wales expects a tarantula invasion. The country anticipates about 40 000 this weekend, and a museum has said, “Can you capture some of them to study?” While Sydney climate is very rainy, flooding of that intensity has not been seen for 50 years!
